This Privacy Policy describes how OKWAVE (hereafter referred to as “we” or “us”) collects, uses and discloses information and what choices you have with respect to the information, abiding by laws regarding to the personal information as well as to protect it in a proper manner.


1. In the case where we directly collect personal information, the purpose of use and the acquisition method will be specified in advance, and we collect personal information with the consent of the person concerned. However, if the purpose of use is obvious from the situation at the time of collection, we may abbreviate the specification of the purpose of use.


2. In terms of handling personal information, we will continually take reasonable safety measures, as well as corrective and preventative measures in technical and organizational aspects, on account of safety management in preventing destruction, leakage, loss, falsification, etc.


3. We do not disclose or provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the consent of the person concerned, unless it is required by law.


4. For complaints and inquiries regarding the handling of personal information, we will establish a help desk to respond in good faith. In addition, if we receive any request for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc. of personal information based on the personal information protection law, then we will respond within a reasonable period and time and range, as long as we can verify the concerned person’s identity.

We respect your rights described in the preceding paragraphs and we will respond to your request within a reasonable period and range only when it can be confirmed that the request is from you. Please note that if your request clearly lack foundation or be excessive, especially in case of repetitive requests, we may charge you a reasonable fee or may refuse your request.




(11) Deletion of Personal Information


We do not store collected personal information beyond the limit necessary for the purpose of collection. In addition, customers may request us to delete their personal information from the Inquiry Form at any time, and in the event that personal information is no longer necessary for the purpose of collection or processing, we will promptly delete such personal information.

We will take necessary and appropriate safety management measures for the Anonymously processed information, etc., such as preventing leakage, loss or damage.

7. Excluded from Application

This policy will not be applicable if, your Personal information is required to be entered or automatically acquired the website of third parties linked within advertisements or posts on our Individuals services.



8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

(1) We may change this policy without the prior consent of the users. Any changes to this policy will be notified on our website.

(2) The revised privacy policy shall take effect from the date posted by us, and if you use our services after policy is changed, it is assumed that you have agreed to the policy changes.
